How it begins
There was once a poor widow who lived in a lonely little cottage. In front of the cottage was a garden with two rose bushes. One of them grew white roses, and the other grew red roses. She had two children who were just like the two rose bushes. One was called Snow-White, and the other was called Rose-Red.
